Koyfin Integration

Overview

Import Addepar portfolios into Koyfin for analysis and client reporting. Compare against benchmarks and models, identify gaps in allocation, exposure, risk, and fees, and turn your analysis into client-ready reports and proposals.

Before setup

Grant user access to the integration in Addepar

To enable users to authorize and connect the integration to their Addepar account, grant access within Firm Administration. You can automatically grant access to all current and future users, or select specific users. Anyone without access will not be able to authorize and set up the integration. Users can disconnect from authorized integrations in their Personal Settings.

  1. Go to Firm Administration > Integrations. 
  2. Select the integration.
  3. Grant access: 
    1. All users: Click Automate user access.
    2. Specific users: Search or select the users, then click Actions > Grant access.

 

Set up the integration

Step 1: Connect Addepar to Koyfin

  1. Sign in to Koyfin, click the Profile icon in the top right, and go to Integrations.

  2. In the Addepar section, click Connect.

  3. You’ll be redirected to the Addepar login page. After logging in, your account will be connected to Koyfin.

Step 2: Import Accounts from Addepar

  1. Go to the Client Portfolio page and click + Add New → Portfolio

  2. In the Portfolio creation window, choose Addepar.

  3. Select the account(s) you want to import and click Import.

Step 3: After Importing‌

  • All imported accounts are grouped into a new Untitled Portfolio.
  • The portfolio is placed under No Household by default.
  • Each import creates a separate untitled portfolio.

To organize the portfolio:

  1. Rename the portfolio and accounts if needed.

  2. Reassign a portfolio or account by hovering over the row, clicking the ⋯ menu, and selecting Move to.

Disconnect the integration

To disconnect, go to Profile → Integrations, find Addepar, and click Disconnect.

Existing Addepar data will remain in Koyfin, but you will no longer be able to import additional portfolio data. 

Note: Koyfin does not store any login credentials or additional account information from Addepar.
